Job Title: Senior Analyst, US WM Fees - Bangalore

Job Function: Operations/Securities

Summary

This role is based in Bangalore US Fees team. The team provides operational support in respect to setting up and charging Management fees for Wealth Management clients of Northern Trust. The Position reports to the Team Leader of the Bangalore US WM Fees team.

Sr. Analyst, Fees is required to take full ownership for one or more processes, reports and/or procedures with a focus on resolution of complex transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines and/or processes. The candidate should be analytically and procedurally competent, representing the team on cross-function process or project deliverables.  Emerging as an expert in a specific skill set but remains focused primarily on daily execution of Team’s responsibilities. 

Major Duties

  • Full ownership for one or more processes, reports and/or procedures.
  • Handling and processing of transactions within predefined established guidelines
  • Responsible for processing activities pertaining to Fee Operations primarily for WM Clients
  • Involvement in performing quality checks and internal audits as per requirement
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines
  • Works effectively as a team member but also independently drive initiatives/projects
  • Attain knowledge of the core aspects of the job
  • Assists client and other partners with complex problem resolution. Maintains technical knowledge of Fee Operations and how the function relates to other operating areas
  • Maintains risk management and control activities for their assigned group
  • Building effective working relationship with off-shore partners and other relevant partner areas
  • Provides hands-on training for new joiner and cross-training for experienced staff
  • Running and creating formal MIS reports and involve in ad-hoc projects when necessary

Knowledge/Skills

Attention to detail, ability to perform stringent and exhaustive secondary review responsibilities, excellent communication and coordination abilities

Advanced MS Office usage abilities

Experience Required

  • A minimum of 18-24 months of experience as an Analyst
  • Experience in handling WM clients and knowledge about Fee-plus application.
