The Position
The Jersey Capital Markets team consist of two teams of administrators and a team of accounting staff. Each of the administration teams manage their own portfolios of clients and structures . The fee earners within the teams are responsible for the administration of the various cases with an on-going responsibility for their SPVs including incorporation, establishment of transaction and day-to-day administration.

- To become involved in business development with exposure to local and oversea clients
- Full on the job training in Capital Markets and debt securitisation structures

- Develop knowledge of The International Stock Exchange (TISE) and gain experience in listing debt securities from around the world

Technical Attributes
- Be responsible for the administration of a portfolio of Capital Markets structures and ensure clients are managed effectively including:
- Preparation of board packs and minutes of meetings
- Review and comment on legal documentation
- Review of financial statements and liaise with accountants and auditors
- Updating client statutory records, databases and registers
- Become a technical expert on client structures, including local and regulatory requirements that are applicable
Client Care
- Develop client relationships by email/phone or in person where practical
- Communicate openly and honestly with clients on a regular basis
- Maintain client documents with integrity
People & Team
- Be responsible and approachable at all times
- Be comfortable working on own or as part of a team
- Provide new, innovative ideas on how to improve the efficiencies of daily tasks
- Take care of and establish good relationships with all suppliers, team mates and clients

Financials
- Accurately record all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure the clients are correctly invoiced
- Carefully review aged debt and other financial information as required by the Finance Group
- Manage own portfolio to ensure team and personal KPIs are met
Skills & Expertise
- Experience in a similar corporate or trust administration role
- Studying towards/hold a professional qualification, ideally ICSA
- Be able to deal with tasks independently & use own initiative
- Must be committed and driven to achieving excellence for themselves and their client
