EY’s Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) practice is the leader in providing innovative and practical TPRM solutions. The team has assisted hundreds of companies across all industries in improving and/or operating their third party risk programs. The Third Party Risk as a Service (TPRaaS) Product & Innovation Team is an organization dedicated within Americas Managed Services to focus on enabling technologies, innovation for further scalability/efficiency and developing new solutions within offering. TPRM is one of the fastest growing businesses in EY and an amazing opportunity to join a dynamic organization.

Your key responsibilities

You will contribute to the ongoing efforts within the TPRaaS team supporting various initiatives related to the tools, technologies, and platforms of the offering. As part of the Product & Innovation Team, you will focus on, but will not be limited to, the following activities:

  • Work closely with the manager in the delivery of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) engagements.
  • Work with clients to understand their needs, and develop materials to support their business case and transition into a managed service model
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand feedback related to the TPRaaS Managed Service offering
  • Lead content creation for stakeholder discussions including summarization of product development efforts, go-to-market material, thought leadership, and more
  • Support various other ad-hoc activities related to TPRaaS and Americas Managed Services

In addition, you are part of a growing business where there will be opportunities to support go-to-market efforts, coordination and execution of TPRM operational activities and other improvement initiatives intended to help both client and EY optimize the delivery process.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of third party risk management, with specific focus on information security, data protection, resiliency, and other key operational risks associated with procurement
  • Highly collaborative and ability to work with diverse group of team members and stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills
  • Manage concurrent activities with tight deliverables and a strong attention to detail
  • Manage expectations across multiple stakeholder groups - clients, suppliers and delivery teams
  • Ability to think outside the box / not requiring explicit direction to complete activities
  • Knowledge of risk management, risks and controls concepts, principles of ERM and GRC concepts, information security and/or data privacy (e.g ISO27001, NIST)
  • Knowledge of GRC technology platforms, external data providers and other risk management emerging technologies preferred but not required
  • Experience with managed services is preferred but not required

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's or master's degree
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working within risk management role within industry, a professional services firm, and/or accounting firm
  • We would expect for you to be available to travel outside of their assigned office location at least 25% of the time
  • Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • A valid passport is required.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline
  • CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT certification is desired; non-certified hires are required to become certified to be eligible for promotion to Manager.
