Amazon is looking for an exceptionally skilled Finance Manager to join as FP&A for the EU Retail business - Hardlines.

The role will partner with a number of retail categories with unique challenges and opportunities. You will have responsibilities in planning, reporting and analysis at a EU level. You will be expected to support the development of EU-wide processes that enables best-in-class financial planning, analysis and opportunities identification. Partnering with the business you will be tasked with identifying simplification and/or harmonization opportunities and driving such projects to implementation stage.

Additionally, this position will also play a direct role in the Financial management of a category in one of the EU markets. You will co-own the product family P&L, analyzing performance, upholding a strong controllership environment, and driving initiatives to improve growth and profitability.

In summary, this role will allow the successful candidate to have a very strong impact at both the EU and local level.

You are comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and you identify as a creative and analytical problem solver.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, math or a related field.
• 7+ years working experience in Consumer goods finance, consulting or similar.
• Fluency in English, strong communication skills-

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior working experience in commercial business finance and /or FP&A roles, including effectively collaborating with business partners.
• Advanced Excel and data analytics skills. Prior knowledge of SQL would be beneficial.
• Ability to simplify and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes. Sound business judgment, analytical & data modelling skills and proven ability to influence others.
• Operate at all levels, by staying connected to the details as well as being able to step back and see the bigger picture.
