Senior Specialist Accounts Payable

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Accounting Specialist your main responsibility will be performing vendor codes setup in PDM (Primary Data Management) for APJ Non-Prod and Global Prod regions after received the Ariba/FSR requests from direct and indirect procurement team and global requestors.

You will:

• Perform vendor codes setup in PDM (Primary Data Management) for APJ Non-Prod and Global Prod regions after received the Ariba/FSR requests from direct and indirect procurement team and global requestors.
• Ensure all upstream setup from PDM must be system outbound to each ERP for invoicing and payment purposes. Need to perform root cause analysis in case any failure and log ticket whenever it is necessary.
• All setups must be with data integrity with zero tolerance and aligned to the agreed SLA
• Support & validates vendor details form (Echo Sign & Ariba SIR form) to ensure validity and aligned with internal audit control expectation.
• Liaise and articulate to Dell Internal team (Procurement & requestors) and external team (suppliers) when further clarification is needed
• Embrace “Thinking Out of Box” in driving process simplification projects as part of on-going process improvement and organization initiatives to meet business goals
• Support PWC & Dell Audit Governance sampling audit queries
• Coordinate & perform annual vendor deactivation process to order to strive for better productivity.
• Partner with IT for resolution whenever there are any system issues
• Demonstrates good controllership and adherence to AP policies
• Good working knowledge in process and systems, and good communication to work with global business partners and global VM team.

Essential Requirements

• Possessed tertiary degree in finance, accounting, business studies or professional degree in accounting with 2 years and above experience.
• Minimum one year of working experience in accounting field or MNC environment.
• Hands on experience in computer accounting systems, Excel and PowerPoint will be of added advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills and able to work under pressure to support cross functional departments.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel and Word)

Desirable Requirements

• Knowledge in Oracle R12 and VIP will be added advantage
• Possessed good communication skills
