The opportunity

As a member of the Credit Risk Service Delivery Team you will collaborate on challenging projects that enable you to have a real economic impact for our clients and communities — and your career. Our integrated, issues-based approach to service delivery means your work will span all types of clients dealing with complex issues across a wide range of industries. As part of this team, you’ll join talented individuals who have deep industry, product and client knowledge.

Your key responsibilities

You will be part of diverse teams of professionals with different skill sets to provide services to Credit Risk Management functions, primarily performing credit reviews for commercial and consumer credit exposures within the financial services industry. As Analyst, you will primarily be responsible for performing high quality loan reviews in line with expectations. This would include evaluating borrower credit worthiness by populating standardized work papers with an overall summary of the loan, PSOR, SSOR, guarantor information, collateral information, policy exceptions, relevant calculations, etc. 

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree
  • 2 years of work experience (minimum) in the Financial Services industry
  • Ability to perform commercial credit analysis and have basic knowledge of credit risk management concepts including policies / standards across commercials loan portfolios.
  • Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment
  • Possesses strong writing skills and ability to think analytically
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access and/or SharePoint) and willingness to learn firm-used technologies
  • Demonstrates understanding of client’s business environment
  • Actively promotes an inclusive work environment
  • Acts as a positive role model to junior team members and plans opportunities to improve own and others’ technical competency and professional growth
  • Produces consistent quality of work products/deliverables for which he/she is personally responsible
  • Understands delivery center role expectations and supports the engagement team to deliver exceptional client service
  • Demonstrated project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective organization and time management skills while working on multiple projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Demonstrate the EY values by exhibiting energy, enthusiasm and the courage to lead.
  • Maintains adherence to EY’s professional responsibility requirements
  • A willingness and ability to travel at 0%-30%
  • Valid driver’s license in the US
  • Valid passport

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Completion of a Bank sponsored credit analysis training
