Our client is looking for a motivated Senior Accounts Receivable to join its dynamic Accounting team. The position is a full time-job based in Brussels. Our client is a pioneering and growing media company that covers the politics, policy and personalities of the European Union.

Missions

In this role, you'll be utilizing your technical accounting expertise to provide the following tasks:

• Performing general bookkeeping duties, like invoicing clients, recording cash receipts, making deposits at the bank, and reconciling accounts.
• Auditing ledgers periodically to ensure that the invoice numbers and billing addresses are accurate.
• Handling any special billing situations.
• Maintaining accurate accounting ledgers that are in line with best practices.
• Following up with past-due accounts for collections.
• Keeping management informed of any issues.
• Answering any billing questions that clients might have.
• Receiving and handling invoicing and billing-related email.
• Addressing any billing discrepancies.
• Prepare the monthly reconciliation between CRM & the accounting system.
• Generating financial reports and statements that detail the status of accounts receivable.

Profil du candidat

The ideal candidate profile :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3 years of experience working as an Accounts Receivable Accountant, or a similar role in an accounting departement.
• Highly computer literate (MS office).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Pro-active, organized, dynamic and accurate.
• Team player and ability to work independently.
