We are recruiting for a Senior Manager, LE/MRC Structure to support the Global Legal Entity (LE) and Management Reporting Company (MRC) reporting structure cross sector realignment and implementation. The preferred role location is Pinewood UK, or it may be based in EMEA or North America.

In this global role, the senior manager will support the transition of the business from the current state MRC to the Country, Currency, Sector (CCS) construct. The role will also cover the implementation of interim (MRC) and end state (CCS) structure changes that enable a simplified reporting structure aligned to the end state vision. The individual will lead or support several cross functional teams and potential candidates will need to have a broad understanding of the J&J Operating Model and it is essential that this individual will approach the role with an Enterprise and agile mentality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the MRC to CCS construct transition, simplifying current state complexities like currency and MRC structures
  • Partner with SMEs to develop detailed transition plans to achieve end state CCS unit construct
  • Align sector transition plans with Finance leaders across the Sectors in addition to Tax, GS and Corporate
  • Support timely execution of transition plans in alignment with Integrated Project Plan for the LE/MRC workstream and input into EPM program governance (e.g. status updates, resource planning)
  • Collaborate with other SigniFi teams to ensure end to end workings of the program are as streamlined and standardised as possible
  • Lead training and communications sessions across broader finance organization
  • Support career development of one direct report

Qualifications

Education:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's level degree is required, preferably in accounting or finance
  • CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:
  • 7+ years of relevant finance, accounting or business experience
  • Knowledge of general finance, tax and accounting processes is required
  • Prior experience managing portfolios and project management is strongly preferred
  • Ability to partner with, influence and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management is required.
  • Ability to motivate and empower others to achieve a desired action is required
  • Prior people management experience is required
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
  • Up to 10% international travel may be required

Preferred:
  • Strong understanding of standard methodologies in Accounting and Financial Systems, including SAP
  • Experience of working in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment
