The Company

Our client is a household name in the entertainment industry, they have a very fun culture with regular team events and a progressive hierarchy. The business has seen significant growth over the last 12 months and as a result they are expanding their Finance team to add a mix Financial and Management Accountant.

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager and coaching a small team, this Financial / Management Accountant position is very broad. You will be involved in Financial Accounting and Reporting as well as Management Accounting, Analysis and projects. You will interact with the Sales, Marketing and Operations team on a regular basis and offer value add.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of the Annual Financial Statements and Half Year Reports
• Produce timely and accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliation allocations;
• Budgeting, forecasting
• Management and preparation of the month end reporting packs for the Board
• Preparation of Audit papers and liaising with external auditors and managing year end and half year Audit
• Small management of Tax - FBT, BAS, GST, Income Tax
• Business partnering and offering financial support to the business
• Coach a small team

Your Profile

You will be an experienced Accountant and show passion, a proactive attitude and a willingness to grow and develop yourself towards Finance Manager in a short period of time. You may be a Financial Accountant that is looking to broaden your experience with taking on Analysis and Management Accounting duties.

You will be CA Qualified, and either have Big 4 or a mixture between Big 4 and Commercial experience. The perfect candidate will have worked in the Big 4 in Audit for 1-3 years then moved into a commercial Accounting position.
