Our client is a leading large & superwide format digital print company, servicing creative professionals across the UK & Europe from their home in Lancashire.

Trusted by businesses across the print industry, they work with the latest and the best print and finishing technology, with one of the most impressive print facilities in the UK.

They have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team at their Bacup HQ.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director and external Accountant, you will be responsible for all ledgers to trial balance.

Your duties will include but not be limited to
  • All transaction posting on Sage Line 50, including sales, purchase, nominal and cash book.
  • Reconciliation of ledgers.
  • Supplier liaison to resolve queries.
  • Credit control management, with regular communication with customers.
  • Processing supplier payments.
  • Monitoring multiple bank accounts.
  • Providing timely reports to the Managing Director.

About you
  • You should have proven experience within a similar finance role, taking responsibility for accounts to minimum of trial balance level.
  • You should have a proactive and flexible approach to work, with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • You should have the ability to develop excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • You should possess excellent attention to detail.
  • You should possess superbly accurate and timely data entry skills.
  • You should have solid IT literacy skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel in particular.
  • You should possess great communication skills with both customers and suppliers.

The client is keen for the successful candidate to develop in this role, and there will be opportunities to fast-track into more senior roles within the finance department.
