About FX Services

JPMorgan's FX Services business offers automated foreign exchange (FX) services across a number of use cases, such as corporate or retail clients making international payments, custodians funding international securities trades or eCommerce merchants wanting to price their products in multiple currencies.

The business is supported by global the FX Services technology team with contributors in Houston, New York, Bournemouth, London, Mumbai, Bangalore and Singapore. The team is organized into Agile development teams supported by QA and Product Delivery Teams.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in the business analysis and management of software development processes for FX Services trading/sales software. Specifically you will:
  • Business Analysis: Interact with external clients, internal stakeholders and regulators to gather and document requirements.
  • Analyze, design and implement new efficient processes for our current businesses.
  • Analyze, design and implement solutions for clients.
  • Product Delivery and Management: Manage projects against aggressive client commitments and deadlines. Ensure ordered and well documented product backlogs. Remove blockers to development progress. Manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Produce high quality documentation for internal users and external clients.
  • Expectation management for various stake holders with competing interests, for limited resources.
  • QA test definition, oversight and review of automated acceptance and integration tests. Challenge development teams to ensure technical solutions are sound.
  • Be commercial aware and mindful of costs vs benefits in everything we do.

Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience of technology landscape involved in Foreign Exchange products
  • End to End Foreign Exchange business and product knowledge - including pricing, trading, settlement, accounting, payments
  • Experience of the Passive Currency Overlay products within the markets environment
  • Understand concepts around currency hedging and risk exposure mitigation
  • Significant experience with the agile software development framework, with a substantial experience in high pressure, time critical environments.
  • Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills - to present to a range of stakeholders from senior internal managers, external clients, regulators and development teams.
  • Agile Testing: automating testing, non-functional test design
  • Structured Business Analysis: UML, Spec By Example, modelling business scenarios.
  • Agile Scrum Process: Product backlog management, ensuring continuous improvement, ability to extract meaningful stats and metrics from the development process.
  • Ability to work independently, own issues to resolution and be self-motivated to achieve the best results for clients.
