The Role

  • Complete all assigned complex process activities (Period End Activities, Reporting & MRD maintenance) in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support with monthly Timewriting compilation and computation
  • Provide support to other team members on complex issues using knowledge and experience
  • Provide expertise to FO and non FO stakeholders: Technical SAP/ GFRM / IFRS subject matter expert
  • Initiate and contribute in process improvements
  • Resolve and escalate issues timely and effectively
  • Comply with team, centre, process and global policies and procedures
  • Manage effectively interfaces with FO and non FO stakeholders, build end to end perspective
  • Account Reconciliation (Blackline) preparer role
  • Ensure operational and design effectiveness of the controls within areas of responsibility as Control operator (RDS, FCM, business)

    • Special Challenges/requirements:

  • Complete handover and perform independently within short time period.
  • Requirement to support and deliver business change and project deliverables as required.
  • Prioritization and time management skill during peak closing period.
  • Build trust and confidence in cooperation within Finance Operations (e.g. Connect, Fixed Asset, CM, etc)
  • Exceptionally strong team-working across different portfolios of entities (centralized process for all entities in KL).
  • Cooperation with multiple stakeholders
  • Necessity to constantly update knowledge within finance
  • Work in process heavily loaded towards deadlines
