The Tax and Regulatory Compliance Senior Analyst will support and perform Transfer Agency regulatory compliance activities including tax reporting, cost basis, and state/federal withholding. The position will also coordinate ongoing regulatory mailings, prepare tax form or filings, and assist with regulatory projects and related initiatives. Successful candidates will have a background in transfer agency operations with direct experience supporting regulatory compliance.

Knowledge/ Skills:

This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn and stay abreast of processes, systems, and regulatory change. Strong organizational and communication skills are needed to manage multiple tasks in a fast-passed, time sensitive environment. Attention to detail is critical.

Major Duties:

  1. Assists with ongoing tax reporting process including maintaining project plans, executing system events, coordinating vendor activity, reviewing tax form output, and managing or escalating issues.
  2. Builds and leverages data to prepare various state and federal tax forms, filings, and information returns.
  3. Supports cost basis, including researching and resolving items on system generated reports.
  4. Researchers and responds to internal questions related to tax forms, cost basis, and ongoing regulatory compliance items.
  5. Coordinates and performs ongoing regulatory compliance mailings.
  6. Develops and/or maintains project plans, procedures, and training materials.
  7. Supports new client onboarding, the implementation or system enhancements, and new regulations.
  8. Performs additional duties as needed.
  9. Remote opportunities for experienced individuals!
  10. Minimum of 1 year experience or equivalent experience in transfer agency regulatory compliance
