Client Details

Our client is a Hong Kong listed entertainment company with company 50 years of history. With business expansion plan and new funding from investors, they are now seeking for a Business Analysis to join their experienced Finance team for future business planning and strategy.

Description

• Maintain departmental database for turnover, account acquisition and other financial for independent monthly KPI performance tracking
• Support allocation of revenue and cost budget to districts and budget holders
• Convert annual revenue and cost budget to monthly targets
• Conduct analysis on financial performance on turnover, productivity, profitability, opex, capex, to ensure budget is met, savings targets are achieved, and any shortfalls / adverse trends to be spotted promptly and alerts to be provided regularly
• Support different teams in their program / project budgeting to ensure money well spent and returns are achieved
• Support direct manager to design and develop easy-to-read and meaningful KPI reporting templates or charts to show business analysis and collaborates with Managers for inputs in elaborating the results.
• Support major projects / renovations on financial calculation to support business case write up, ensures appropriate business assumptions be developed with the stakeholders.
• Support different teams in their program / project budgeting to ensure money well spent and returns are achieved.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis or Business related discipline
• Minimal 3 years relevant working experience in data science related fields
• Solid experience in management accounting / financial analysis / quantitative analysis in a retail / service oriented
• High independence, strong business acumen and high level of analytically ability
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proven knowledge in financial accounting and budgeting
• Knowledge in machine learning models and practical experience in data mining
• Extensive experience with Excel and other database querying tools is a must
• Proficiency in MS product suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Knowledge in Access and data mining techniques
