One of the world's leading entertainment groups requires a Financial Accountant to join their London HQ due to internal promotion. The business are going through an exciting period including a large recent acquisition and finance transformation. The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified ACA accountant who has experience with large business audit and consolidations. The Role -
Assisting in ensuring accurate statutory reporting of the group, helping to maintain the Group's balance sheet and partnering with others in the Finance and wider business in providing analysis for senior management as part of month-end. You will work directly with the Group Financial Controller and provide reporting to the CFO, and be part of a dynamic and sociable team.

The Role -
Assisting in ensuring accurate statutory reporting of the group, helping to maintain the Group's balance sheet and partnering with others in the Finance and wider business in providing analysis for senior management as part of month-end. You will work directly with the Group Financial Controller and provide reporting to the CFO, and be part of a dynamic and sociable team.
- Owning key accounting issues including impairment, IFRS 16, acquisition and disposal accounting.
- Analysing Associates/ Minority Interests/ Provisions and working with other process owners across the Group
- Reviewing other monthly balance sheet reconciliations and providing analysis for senior management
- Taking ownership for sections of the year-end audit and assisting with the Group financial statements
- Supporting a range of subsidiary companies as part of a Group finance role in addition to preparing financial statements
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
The Person -
- Proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions
- Newly-qualified, looking to further their career with proven management and financial accounting experience, confident with consolidations and technical group accounting
- A good communicator who is at ease explaining financial information to Finance and non-Finance staff
- Experience with financial accounts and statutory reporting, preferably with a medium to large company / audit clients
- Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
