Your field of responsibility:

Financial Accounting is responsible for the legal and regulatory reporting including notes and disclosures of Credit Suisse and the associated controls around the data referenced in this process.

The Credit Suisse Group financial and Legal entity standard reporting project management team is mainly responsible for implementing the new GAAP requirements, migration of current entities disclosure reporting tool, operational improvement and automation and any other projects impacting the group disclosure reporting. Understanding the current business process flow and existing systems and controls in detail.

  • Coordinating with line teams to get the process documents and control.
  • Laying down the business requirement to change team for implementation
  • Making decision: In/Out of Scope; project approach; timeline etc.
  • Work toward harmonization of regional inconsistencies Document the IMBS process documentation and controls
  • Coordinating with other work streams, business and change team to supervise the project progress
  • Identify and ensure effective management of dependencies within/outside of the project
  • Providing regular project updates and highlight key challenges to relevant business partners.
  • Understanding of US GAAP
  • Coordinating with various departments (FMAR – Financial Management Accounting and Reporting, Finance change etc.) to provide key inputs on project
  • Make recommendations to improve delivery of project
  • Work with team and support to achieve the desired results
  • Manage and ensure project compliance
  • Coordinate testing and document.

Your skills and experience

We are lookizg for:

  • Relevant university degree - accounting or finance related
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance
  • 7-10 years’ proven work experience in a financial service industry with prior experience in banking or similar industry
  • Experience of project execution in area of operational improvement and finance system migration
  • Experience of working on US GAAP & SWISS GAAP accounting standards.
  • Experience in Investment banking industry will be added advantage

Technical / business skills & knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication, decision making, presentation/documentation skills
  • Sound knowledge of global banking products like loans, Derivatives, Repo etc.
  • Ability to think logically and independently to seek solutions for problems as well work under pressure. Detail oriented approach to work commitments
  • Sound conceptual accounting skills and control approach
  • Expert Excel and PowerPoint user
  • Working knowledge of implementing any finance related system and agile product development methodology would be a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with people from other departments in the organization
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail, strong problem solving capabilities and passion for developing innovative solution
  • Ability to learn fast about international banking products, processes and business
  • Desire to work in a fast paced international finance environment
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
