Description
- Engage with stakeholders and ensure they have all the tools to form short and long term operational decisions
- Collection and review of expenditure to aid in monthly financial reporting
- Management and review of strategic and single year budgets, periodic reviews and forecasts
- Analysis of monthly reports for actual/ desired output, versus previous forecast, annual budget and previous year
- Support management by providing relevant, targeted information and suggestions following analysis
- Ensure processes are followed in order to safeguard the company results and financial assets
- Collaboratively work with the whole Finance team, by sharing insight and suggestions for enhancement on the way the department operates
Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualified experience within a large corporate environment
- Experience of logistics activities is desirable
Skills
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills
- Technical accounting knowledge with the ability to work with processes
- Excellent IT skills, including a high proficiency in MS Excel (experience of SAP highly desirable)
- Great communication skills, with the ability to easily connect with stakeholders at all levels
- Influencing and negotiation skills, with a resilient approach
- Need to be flexible, able to work with changing deadlines within a highly demanding environment
- Team player, dynamic and shares an enthusiastic perspective
- Constant drive for improvement of reporting and systems
- Comfortable with adapting to, and driving change
Job Offer
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum
33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
