Who we are looking for

As a member of the Corporate Action Client Service team, you are responsible for delivery of a specific set of services for key custody and middle office clients. Respond to inquiries, proactively communicate on topics of interest, advocate on behalf of the client for services for which they are receiving support. May support multiple clients and disciplines. Ability to facilitate complex problem resolution. Serves as an escalation point for clients.

What you will be responsible for

As Assistant Vice President  you will

  • Directly interact with clients on a daily basis providing support for one or more functions.
  • Respond to inquiries and service requests from client.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and service enhancements
  • Develop strong relationship with the client.
  • Develops strong understanding of client’s workflows and creates tailored solutions that increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Assists in definition and reporting of key metrics
  • Escalation point for the client and internal service teams

  • Strong oral and written communication with effective team building skills to be competent in communicating and presenting issues to clients, management, business units, and other interdependent groups.
  • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to influence and motivate non-COE staff across locations in order to resolve client issues. 
  • Problem-solving skills, negotiation, root cause analysis, risk management, and escalation.
  • Ability to recognize, manage and mitigate risk.
  • Work closely with clients (internal and external) and SSB internal groups to foster a global operating environment and owner’s mindset.
  • Demonstrate the ability to remain calm and professional with a demanding client at all times

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred but not essential.   7-10 years of relevant experience.   
  • Working knowledge of the financial services industry and in-depth knowledge of Corporate Actions, Income, and Proxy. 
  • Proven experience in customer service
