Senior Finance Manager

Our client is a market leader with global operations providing solutions for the minerals, resource, civil and engineering sectors. They have registered positive growth in recent years with significant presence in APAC and continues to invest in high growth emerging markets in the region. Due to continuing business needs, they are now seeking to recruit a technically strong Financial Controller to be on a secondment program to Indonesia.

Description

This person will be responsible for managing the finance function for the regional portfolio with Indonesia as one the key market. Reporting to the Regional CFO and local Managing Director, you will directly manage the finance team in Indonesia overseeing full spectrum of financial and management reporting, tax and audit functions. You will advise on cross-border tax issues, partner with procurement and logistics stakeholders to ensure asset movements across the group are performed in an efficient and compliant manner. This person will also participate in the bids and tenders process, drive negotiations with suppliers and contractors. You will evaluate new projects and capital investments, as well as support in the reporting of project results, country overhead reports, P&L and balance sheet reporting for regional subsidiaries.

Profile

You should be degree qualified and/or with professional qualifications in CA/CPA. You should have >8 years of relevant experience managing regional finance functions. Direct experience managing Indonesia market will be of great advantage. The ideal candidate should be technically strong with high proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiar with major ERP system. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders of different background will be crucial. Overseas working experience with the ability to appreciate diverse cultures and styles of working will be a great plus.
