QBE or part qualified Finance Manager needed for a growing tech business in central London. 45k plus bonus Your new company For this Finance Manager job role you will be joining a well established tech business based in the heart of London. The business has been in operation for over 10 years and has been going from strength to strength, having experienced over 10% growth consistently every quarter for the past 3 years. This business is cash rich and private equity backed. Currently they are looking to grow head count from 150 to 250 staff to help drive the business further in to more regions. An international company they have a global reach and have started becoming one of the main players in the software market. Your new role For this job vacancy you will be working as the Finance Manager, supervising a team of 3 and reporting in to the CFO. Your main responsibilities will be to manage the finance team, overseeing the ledger and month-end closure procedures. You will be responsible for completing the full set of management accounts with analysis for 5 international entities and working with the CFO to produce the consolidated accounts. You will also assist the CFO with the yearly budget and quarterly and yearly forecast. Other duties will include VAT returns, assisting with payroll, audit and ensuring all finance controls and procedures are sufficient and adhered to. You will be working on Xero and Excel to complete your work but the business will likely be transferring to a Microsoft Dynamics accounting software in the near future so you will also help with this transition and implementation (although temporary assistance has been budgeted for). What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role you MUST have worked for a tech/software/technology business previously and worked in a similar role for at least 5 years. Ideally you will have worked for a private equity business before and experienced working for a rapidly growing business. It's a bonus if you have used Xero software before. You should be ambitious, driven, organised and thorough with your work. The business is seeking someone that will add value and help drive the business. You should be part qualified or QBE to be considered for this role. Qualified accountants will not be considered. Ideally you will have supervised teams previously but if you have ticked all the above boxes in sole-charge roles you will still be considered.
