Randstad are excited to be working with a company that is an international entity with a manufacturing arm in Australia, supplying equipment globally. They are an engineering facility that requires a person to understand manufacturing/engineering requirements. They are looking for a Finance Manager to be based in South West Sydney.

About the role:

  • Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organisation and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
  • Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
  • Managing hedging and foreign currencies
  • Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organisation is compliant with accounting standards
  • Managing and overseeing the company's banking and borrowing arrangements
  • Managing and overseeing the company's financial systems
  • Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff
  • Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions.
  • Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place
  • Advising on best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs
  • Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information
  • Reviewing all formal finance, HR, and IT related policies and procedures
  • Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
  • Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
  • Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.


They are looking for a Finance Manager with:

  • Degree qualified with CA or CPA.
  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience
  • Highly developed MS Excel and MS Word skills.
  • Proven analytical, problem solving and process management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders
