Job summary
Who we are:
The vision of Seller Fulfillment Services (SFS) is to contribute to Amazon's mission around Price, Selection and Convenience through Sellers. We do this by building fulfillment and transportation solutions for millions of Sellers that are part of multi-billion-dollar business where they ship directly from their own warehouses while raising the bar on the Customer's delivery experience pre and post purchase. The business is serviced by a mature tech stack that has been built over the last 10 years allowing the Sellers to delight Customers with the high Amazon bar, while innovating in key areas to better serve the unique needs of Sellers. The SFS group has a track record of strong innovation for Sellers and continues to Think Big about how to push more capabilities, such as evaluating the optimal regionality of an offer or optimal choice of shipping services for an order, into the Sellers hands, unlocking continued scaling of Sellers and adding Prime selection that doesn't fit with Amazon's traditional FBA model.
Role Overview:
SFS Finance team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to join its leadership team in Swansea or London, UK. The successful candidate will be ultimately responsible for strategic business forecasting across all teams. This role holder will review and challenge financial decisions, spot trends, anomalies or deviations, and introduce strategies for improvement. Partnering closely with a broad range of global business and finance leaders, designing, developing, and maintaining performance measurements and reporting on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the economics of the business.
We would like you to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to help ensure the finance team is well informed and has a strong voice within the organization. With a range of stakeholder teams, you'll need the ability to be forward looking and think through all possible scenarios, then summarize this theoretical information with digestible and tangible reports on key metrics. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to innovate by building creative solutions with large-scale data and analytics tools, identifying the high-priority work and projects that maximize results for key stakeholders, and solving complex problems that effect company-wide strategic decisions.
Our Ways of Working
As a transparent, high trust business we value low ego, get it done type humans, who enjoy working in a collaborative and supportive environment. From grand ideas to hands on implementation, you will be exposed to a huge variety of projects and will bring passion to the task however big or small. We are a friendly, helpful bunch who work very hard but value healthy balance, family, friends and all the good stuff that makes us smile!
