Our network supplies light and commercial vehicle parts to over 36,000 independent garages, auto centres and transport operators throughout the UK.

We are currently looking to recruit an Internal Auditor to join our team in Bristol with travel across our other AAG sites.

An Internal Auditor is responsible for measuring site accountability regarding internal company procedures, industry rules and statutory requirements. Their typical duties include studying and evidencing records, measuring compliance, and undertaking process checks against company workflows.

Ideally with audit experience, they have responsibility for planning and undertaking site-based audits, communicating the results and findings, and helping to ensure that ongoing improvements are made to drive business performance.

They will have autonomy in how they work to deliver the role's key requirements, in line with group strategies and expectations.

Essential requirements:
  • Hands-on, pragmatic approach and can communicate effectively.
  • Work autonomously, with confidence to undertake Health & Safety, and Quality audits to assist in identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Work on field-based audit projects.
  • Maintain and provide a good level of internal customer service.
  • Able to work independently and pro-actively within guidelines.
  • Ability to engage with the local and regional management teams.
  • Self-motivated with a 'Can Do' attitude.
  • Ability to plan their work schedule and multitask.
  • Experience of using general Microsoft programmes such as Outlook, Word, and Excel etc.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work to a consistent standard across various sites.
  • Full UK driving license, with the ability to complete long journeys.
  • When required, the ability to undertake hotel stays.


Desirable requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a role which involves lone travel and nights away from home.
  • Understanding of Quality standards and expectations.
  • Experience in auditing or a similar background.
