Job summary
The AWS Startup Business Analytics (SBA) team is looking for a talented, driven, self-directed Senior Business Analyst to join an organization that is responsible for driving adoption of the AWS platform by startups around the world. This is a unique opportunity, in a fast-growing business, to provide insights to our field teams and leaders who are helping customers build lean, innovative new companies today and turn them into the enterprises of tomorrow. Specifically, you will define, build and scale Business Intelligence and Analytics products that allow us to Get, Grow and Keep startups on AWS. You will work closely with members of Sales, Business Development, Operations and Finance teams to ensure we are sourcing, validating and surfacing internal and external third-party data to make informed business decisions. You will collaborate with engineers to build self-service reports and establish automated processes for large scale data analyses.

You should consider applying if you are passionate about data analysis, extracting and manipulating data (using SQL, Python or advanced Excel features), and producing actionable insights and business intelligence through compelling visualizations and story-telling. This job requires strong communication and project management skills to work with key stakeholders and business partners, understand requirements, and deliver analytics products. You should also be able to demonstrate analytical thinking, business acumen, and a knack for working backwards from the customer's needs in a cross-functional environment. At Amazon, we're all builders, it's always Day 1, and it's imperative to have a keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness to be successful in this role.
