The Opportunity
Westray are proud to be working alongside a client who is a leader in their field. We are looking for an experienced Office / Finance Manager to join a company that service the global industries of Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind, Wave and Tidel Energy. As the Office / Finance Manager you will receive a salary of up to £50,000 and work out of the offices in Catterick. This is a Monday to Friday role, you have your weekends to yourself. The company is fully committed to its people and to responsible engineering practices. You will be working within a small team of 6 office staff. This is a key role for the business and attention to detail is key to been successful. The company operates in a faced pace, high pressure but rewarding environment. They are looking for someone who can build value within a growing company.
The Role
To manage the invoices in and invoices out function.
Coordinate invoices and produce monthly management accounts.
Input all required data into Sage.
Contribute to the strategic direction of the department and the business.
Reporting on the cash position of the business.
Maintain and manage the current payroll functions, dealing with HMRC and PAYE.
Reviewing contracts with customers and suppliers
The Person
Experience with SAGE
Understanding of company accounts and payroll
Experience managing cashflow.
Ability to work from office in Catterick
Experience within an export and import business is beneficial
Experience with exporting / export codes / regulations
Experience working for a businesses who make physical products (and pay suppliers)
Experience of working in the offshore energy sector
Experience with working in a fast paced environment
