Position Summary:

To maintain and provide clear and accurate financial and management information to support group and statutory financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Intercompany accounting to include review, reconciliation and agreement of intercompany invoicing in multiple currencies and with multiple jurisdictions.
  • Management of intercompany recharges to include preparation of recharge information and raising request for invoice.
  • Forecasting, financial analysis and reporting of divisional and group cost centres and responding to queries from multiple stakeholders.
  • Participation in month end process and production of management accounts.
  • Manage accurate and timely fixed asset reconciliation. To include assisting the business in capitalisation of large projects.
  • Analysis and reporting of key general ledger codes.
  • Data collation and submission of National Statistics questionnaires
  • Assist in review and resolution of accounts payable and GRIR items
  • Assist in preparation of annual statutory accounts under FRS102 and UK corporation tax return information
  • Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual Corporate reporting process under US GAAP.
  • Assist as required with internal and external audit requests.


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Team player - easy to get on with, quick relationship building, work well as part of a team
  • A self starter & finisher, will ensure all tasks are done accurately and timely and uses initiative
  • Flexible, able to manage and prioritise tasks for completion
  • Attention to detail and willingness to understand and apply technical accounting principles
  • Always looking for improvement of systems, information, performance measurement
  • High commitment, working longer hours as required to ensure job done
  • Proficient in excel
  • Accounting qualification preferable - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
