We are currently conducting an exclusive search for a Senior Financial / Management Accountant to join their finance team in a pivotal role. On offer is a high performance & innovative working culture and a large team full to the brim of talent who are welcome to work from home 2 days a week.

The Role

Your role as the Senior Financial / Management Accountant will enjoy an appealing variety of interesting and challenging responsibilities whilst reporting into a talented Financial Controller.  

You will liaise on a daily basis with senior management across the business which will give you great exposure and allow you to gain a thorough understanding of the organisation and industry. 

You will be provided with the opportunity to take ownership of high profile work across various interesting entities that will see you using your financial accounting and management reporting skills coupled with your analytical and business acumen. 

Your position will encompass month end, internal and external reporting, preparing quarterly management reports, and bi-monthly board reports. Additionally you will have responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and mentoring of junior team members. 

You will have the opportunity to drive change and play a role in driving process improvement projects alongside other key stakeholders.

Your Background

To be considered for this Senior Financial / Management Accountant position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrable track record of both academic and professional achievement.
• Professionally qualified as an Accountant (e.g. CA, ACA or equivalent).
• Either working currently within a top Chartered firm and be ready to move out, or,
• Have had the top CA firm experience and already moved to a complex commercial or financial services business working as a Financial Accountant, Management Accountant, Group Accountant, Corporate Accountant, Senior Accountant (or similar). 
• Excited to work in a deal driven environment in a role that can offer incredibly interesting exposure and constant challenge.
• It is essential that you are career driven and highly motivated to succeed.
