This is an interesting and broad-ranging opportunity where the successful candidate will manage full control over the accounting function and oversee the financial health of our highly successful small business.
The role will suit a person who likes variety and has the technical ability to prepare the accounts to TB from start to finish. You will need a flexible approach to get involved in all aspects of the accounts from entry level to management accounts stage.
You will have a minimum 3 years' experience of bookkeeping for a small-medium sized Company and be AAT / IAB qualified. A good working knowledge of Sage 50 and Microsoft Office is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Salary c£25-28k per year pro rata depending on experience and qualification.
This permanent position is offered as a part time role working 22.5 hours per week, minimum 3 day week.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Keeping track of daily transactions
- Sales ledger & purchase ledger management
- Paying regular bills for the Company
- Aged debtor reporting and credit control
- Cash flow reporting
- Preparing month end management figures
- Preparing P&L reports
- Involvement with year-end accounts
- Payroll and pension administration (alongside accountants)
- Monthly CIS payments
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Preparing and submitting yearly Corporation Tax returns
- Assemble and provide financial information to external Accountants and the Directors
- Providing administrative and clerical support as needed
