An exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller, to join a long established and profitable large format print business based in Strood on either a full time or part time basis.

About you.
- You will be a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA, with experience of working within a SME environment.
- You will have supervisory experience and ideally good working knowledge of Sage 50.
- You will be hands on, organized, analytical and curious.
The role.
- Reporting to the CEO and managing a small team.
- Manage the cashflow for the business on a daily basis and produce regular cashflow forecasts.
- Manage the purchase and sales ledger functions.
- Working with the CEO ensure that our debt is covered by our Euler trade insurance policy and collected on a timely basis.
- Manage the monthly payroll.
- Produce management accounts.
- Produce annual budget and mid year reforecast for the business.
- Extend and improve accounting controls, including purchase orders, job costing etc.
- Manage the vat returns, government gateways etc
- Working with the wider management team, help to ensure that the project currently being run to replace the operational software is successful and working within a reasonable timeframe.
- Drive the continuous improvement of our end to end accounting systems.
- Produce year end accounts and liaise with our external accountants.
- Work with the CEO in managing our banking and insurance relationships.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.

- £40,000 to £45,000 basic + benefits
