Robert Walters - Interim Finance Director - 9 months Fixed Term Contract - West Midlands
Our client, a household name are looking for an Interim Finance Director who will have responsibility for the Finance Department. You will be working with the CFO, driving improvement in financial performance across the organisation to enable the delivery of strategic objectives.
Location: West Midlands
Contract length: 9 months FTC
Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £100k
Key responsibilities of the Interim Finance Director
Assisting the CFO with ensuring the short, medium and long-term financial sustainability
Managing payroll, pensions and submission of various HMRC returns
Ensuring support is available through Business Partners to assist departments in delivering their operational and strategic objectives
Supporting budget holders via management accounting and financial planning processes
Contributing to the development and ongoing maintenance of balanced scorecard
Ensuring that all financial statutory returns are completed in a fully compliant manager and have been validated through the External Returns GroupKey essentials of the Interim Finance Director
Qualified Accountant
Strong internal and external stakeholder management
