FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - RENEWABLE ENERGY - 4 MONTH CONTRACT - UP TO £500 PER DAY - IMMEDIATE START

Client Details

My client is NYSE listed and a industry leading renewable energy giant. Due to a period of natural growth, my client is looking to appoint a high calibre Financial Controller to lead their dynamic finance team.

This individual will be fully qualified with experience working in a large organisation with exposure to IFRS/US GAAP.

Description

Reporting into an impressive Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting in setting up financial processes and best practices as projects transition from construction to operations
• Analysing financial information necessary to complete the month-end accounting close
• Preparing/Reviewing balance sheet account analyses and reconciliations to supporting documentation for all the UK/Europe entities
• Interacting with auditors and assist with the preparation and documentation to support both internal and external audits.
• Working with the advisors and tax team to support the preparation of the corporation tax returns for various entities
• Support Preparation of VAT returns for the various entities.

Profile

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or overseas equivalent)
• Up to date knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience preparing VAT returns within a larger company
• Immediately available or available at a short notice period (1 week)
• Experience in Renewable or harder industry highly preferred
