The opportunity

If you can demonstrate a background in accounting or finance, please feel more than welcome to apply. As Junior Accountant in Finance Operations Team, your main objective will be to work on one multi-country engagement.

What we look for

We are looking for an Accountant who knows general accounting and wants to gain experience in a global environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Prepare and post General Ledger journal entries
• Book payroll entries
• Perform balance sheet reconciliation
• Support Country Controlling Processes
• Support tax compliance and statutory processes
• Prepare and update process documentation 

Skills and attributes for success

• Practical accounting experience in areas mentioned in the below section
• Very good command of English and Dutch or French
• Time managements skills, commitment to deadlines and ability to work under pressure 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be motivated, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills

To qualify for the role you must have

• 1+ years of experience in accounting, in R2R or Finance (nice to have)
• Very good command of English and Dutch or French
• Very good work organization, initiative and commitment

Ideally, you'll also have

• 1+ years of experience in accounting, in R2R or Finance (nice to have)
• Very good work organization, initiative and commitment 
• Ability to work in a global international team and build network of contacts
