Chief Financial Officer

A start-up FinTech business with VC funding is currently recruiting for a Finance Director to build and grow out the accounting & finance function of the business and support the business as it looks to scale. The Finance Director will run the entire finance function and support the growth of the organization.

Working with the company C-suite leadership team, the Finance Director will be responsible for all financial reporting and the implementation of financial processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversight of the whole finance function including planning, reporting, risk, and accounting
Build a best in class Finance function to meet the demands of the business as it grows.
Work with C-suite to develop long-term financial plans
Influencing company strategy through financial and data led decision making
Implement and oversee transactional finance functions including AP/AR/Payroll/Reporting
Monitor and stay in line with statutory regulations, industry legislation and changes to accounting standard.

As a senior leader within the business you will be commercially-savvy and able to think practically about the wider business. Experience of working with Audit teams and regulators will be key as well as in-depth knowledge of international legal and compliance requirements. 

Requirements:

Active ACCA Member
Minimum of 7 years PQE and a strong academic background
Ideally some experience of working at businesses who have looked to scale and grow, whether in a start-up or more mature business. Perhaps you have been a part of an entrepreneurial tech business previously and would like to step up into a #1 position with a business that is still in its early stages.
