As Group Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of accounts for subsidiary companies, along with managing one member of staff.
Client Details
Successful manufacturing business based in Kent, offering hybrid working.
Description
As Group Accountant your main responsibilities will include:
- The preparation of the monthly and annual accounts for subsidiary companies including the full p&l, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecast and finalising the audit.
- Providing commercial support across the organisation - this will involve liaising with stakeholders and interpreting commercial contracts.
- Other hands-on duties will include reconciliations, accruals & prepayments, invoicing and banking transactions and the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Providing financial analysis and analyticalanalytical support to the senior leadership teams.
Profile
My client is looking for a fully Qualified Accountant with hands-on experience of producing the monthly accounts, as well as the ability to liaise at a senior level with stakeholders across the business.
This is initially a 12 month Fixed Term contract role to cover a period of maternity - my client requires someone to start by the end of February.
Job Offer
£45,000-£55,000 dependent on experience + benefits
