The Role:
As an experienced Financial Manager/Controller you will be responsible for leading the finance team and reporting to the director. You will drive operational excellence and be key to the forecasted growth and long term strategic goals of the business. Your core duties will include:
- Lead the finance team
- Ensure timely and accurate month end and financial reporting to the director and stakeholders
- Manage payroll and invoicing processes
- Support with year end accounts, BAS and tax returns
- Identify opportunities to create efficiencies and streamline processes
- Ensure policies and procedures are aligned to Australian Accounting Standards
- Oversee training of accounting staff
- Degree qualified with experience in a similar role
- Completion of CA/CPA
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Deadline orientated
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic team
- Xero and cloud based payroll experience
