Your role:

Payroll Officer who can work autonomously, deliver great customer service and manage complex reporting and manual entry as well as auto pay.

You will also run payroll every 2 weeks, a mixture of award and non-award salaries plus manual processing for around 500 employees. Anglicare Victoria use Preceda but it is not essential for you to have already used that.

About you:

  • Solid understanding of the applicable laws and regulations covering payroll, Tax, Super and Salary Packaging
  • Experience running complex reports and analysing data
  • Demonstrated experience in running payroll for a medium to large organisation
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and collaborative communication skills
  • Ability to manage high volume data processing and manage competing demands
  • An empathy with AV's Values and Mission to do better for Children, Young People and Families


  • A relevant qualification related to payroll

The important stuff:

  • Salary $72,000- $74,000 plus super plus salary packaging increasing your take home pay (negotiable)
  • Permanent full time or part time available
