Our Training combines academic study and on the job experience. Fully mentored, by a Manager, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience from day one. A system of continuous feedback and on the job training on a one to one basis ensures that you make steady progress, building on your experience from one assignment to the next.

Starting with the AAT levels you will progress to study for your ACCA qualification if successful.
  • Basic accounts preparation skills
  • Before moving on to develop more complex accounts skills along with tax returns and audit
  • Individual and company taxation and the production of Payroll for clients
  • Book-keeping and accounts preparation using fully computerised systems
  • These roles will be carried out on a daily basis as well as helping the team with general administrative tasks of chasing clients for their records and information in order to meet important statutory deadlines and other similar tasks such as taxation reminders

You will be taught all aspects of different business types and the taxation advantages and disadvantages of each type of business.

You will be taught how to construct information from incomplete records, books of prime entry and from computerised systems and compile them into statutory information for the client, HMRC and Companies House.

Desired skills

  • Good working knowledge of excel and word required
  • Basic skills in maths and English


Personal qualities

  • Punctuality and attention to detail required with good logical organised mind to complete all tasks by the deadlines set.
  • An enthusiastic approach to talking to clients and other organisation both face to face and on the telephone.
  • An ability to stay calm when deadlines are approaching and to remain happy during busy work times.


Desired qualifications

5 GCSE or equivalentqualifications C (Level 4) or above including maths and English.

Future prospects

Employees have the opportunity to progress through the company into a Semi-Senior and then Senior role and specialise in their chosen aspect of the career. Opportunity is given to communicate directly with the client and build their own portfolio. A bonus scheme is available for all staff and is based on an individual's monthly performance. An introductory fee is available to all staff for introducing a client to the business.
