How will I Help?
As a Business Analyst you will be joining our Group Operations Business Unit and be a key member of the Operational Excellence Team within Mortgage Operations. Within this role you will be critical for leading the implementation of innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver customer, quality and risk, and compliance outcomes. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring requirements through the delivery lifecycle enabling Westpac to achieve its strategic gaols, business benefits and outcomes.

Your responsibilities will also include but are not limited to:
  • Identifying and manage stakeholders to elicit and analyse business requirements
  • Delivering timely, high quality, stakeholder engaged outcomes
  • Development and support of testing, training and implementation activities to ensure successful delivery of overall business changes
  • Ensure the project is delivering the business' objectives and successful implementation of change programs
  • Review business requirements, project plans and training documentation on behalf of the business
  • Regular status reporting
  • Identify and manage risks

What do I need?
In order to succeed in this role, you will have previous experience as a Business Analyst ideally looking at continuous improvement methodologies and practices within the Finance Industry. You will have demonstrated experience driving business performance through effective people leadership and/or influencing and experience collaborating with Senior stakeholders. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, will be sound and you will have the ability to develop business requirements and manage throughout the lifecycle. You should be able to work autonomously as well as in a team.

You will have experienced working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies with ideally Lean Six Sigma or Change Management accreditation. Demonstrated experience delivering change strategies and managing information flows to and from the business is needed as well as experience with process improvement initiatives and major end to end transformation initiatives.
