This role will coordinate controls across multiple stakeholder groups within the European Shared Services and beyond including Local Finance, EMEA Supply Chain and outsourced Distributors. As the Corporate Services department establishes and evolves, there will be a strong focus on working with Process Leads to ensure all SOX controls are operating and evidenced as required. The role also coordinates all process training for the department and supports the Process Leads in ensuring training materials are current and delivered in the most effective medium (both to CS team members and internal customers across the locations supported). Job Description Own, continually develop and enhance the SSC process documentation and SOX controls matrices: •Ensure all SSC process 4PL documentation remains reflective of current process •Drive improvements to SOX documentation to ensure that all controls are relevant and all documents kept up to date •Collaborate with SSC process owners in Dublin and Exton (US) to ensure that processes are as consistent as possible, with any identified differences resolved or acknowledged as necessary due to local legislation or systems differences. Ensure SOX controls are operating effectively across the SSC process streams: •Perform testing of the key US GAAP & SOX impacted processes spanning Shire & the 4PL Distributors •Conduct ongoing reviews to ensure controls have been executed and the relevant evidence of those controls is maintained, adhering to best practice / auditing standards •Drive compliance and quality of the GL account reconciliations and supporting documentation maintained in Blackline •Operate as the main point of contact for SSC EU in ensuring that annual financial controls relating to 4PL are properly completed and appropriately evidenced Own, continually develop and enhance the training programs and delivery there of: •Provide overall process and controls framework training to SSC team members, typically during induction sessions •Coordinate the training needs of the SSC workstreams and liaise with global partners to ensure agreed standards are met Requirements: •Must have previous multi-national pharma. Experience ideally within supply chain 5 years min. •In-depth knowledge of SOX Compliance. •Proven experience of developing shared services processes and controls framework •Prove experience of working with outsourced pharmaceutical distributors.
