Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant Your new Company: Global leader in the exciting and growing field of specialist technology manufacture and distribution. Your new Team: Our FP&A/Cost Accounting team provides financial support for the global operations organisation. The team is also responsible for World Wide inventory management and control. Your new Role: This position is responsible for business partnering with the global operations leadership team. In addition, this individual is responsible for the Manufacturing monthly financial close process, to include monthly and quarterly reporting and variance analysis, Quarterly Financial Planning and the Annual Budget. Your New Key Responsibilities: Prepare periodic forecasts and the annual budget for the Manufacturing group. Perform monthly spending analysis of operating expenses versus budget and forecast. Analyze manufacturing related period cost variances including PPV, Earned Overhead, Freight, Scrap and Sale of Inventory. Prepare monthly Manufacturing Finance package including relevant KPIs. Perform special projects as requested. Perform month end closing activities and journal entries for World Wide inventory. Work closely with Operations Management to review, establish, and/or maintain policies and procedures for functions related to inventory management and control. Maintain standard costs for all inventory items in multiple business units and locations. Maintain the Cycle Count Program for all Inventory locations. Your Key background and Skillset: Qualified Accountant 4 + years' finance experience working in a fast paced environment Experience in dealing with operations accounting and business partnering experience. Detail-oriented with a very high level of accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently and communicate with all levels of the organization and outside agencies.
