The Accounts Assistant role will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for all day to day financial transactions, accurately recording and processing purchase and sales ledger entries accurately. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and will also have the opportunity to support with reconciliations and month end related tasks.

Description
The Accounts Assistant role working for this Automotive business in Warwick will involve:
- Management of the Accounts Payable process
- Processing supplier invoices and completing statement reconciliations
- Setting up supplier payments
- Management of cashflow ensuring payments are closely monitored
- Working with the Finance Manager to ensure tight control of cashflow
- Management of sales ledger raising invoices and responsible for credit control duties
- Verify and process employee expense claims
- Support to Finance Manager on month end tasks such as journals, accruals and prepayments
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Managing both GBP and EURO payments
Profile
The successful Accounts Assistant candidate will have a positive, can do attitude with a flexibility in taking on a variety of finance responsibilities. Working in a small finance unit you will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills. A keen interest in process improvement would be highly desireable as the business will shortly embark on new system implementation which you will be a part of.
