This role is strategic, dynamic and creative with a breadth of responsibility supporting the Head of UK IB Control Assurance & CSAG London Branch Chief Operating Officer in ensuring business divisions have appropriate focus on legal entity requirements. The core focus is on providing controls and governance leadership support to ensure a consistent control framework is applied, driving standard methodology and meeting regulatory expectations. Key responsibilities focus on:
- Assisting with the effective operation of the London Branch Management Committee, UK IB Booking Model Oversight Committee, UK IB Operating Committee and UK IB Policies Committee, alongside wider entity MI and communications.
- Supporting ongoing controls monitoring activities, including the RCSA process for the UK IB legal entities and the associated top risk and remediation reporting, as well as broader Internal Controls reporting.
- Support the UK IB entity COOs on issues that span all 3 UK IB entities to agree a coordinated approach to apply consistent control standards, meet regulatory expectations and align to standard methodologies e.g. common issue identification and monitoring through the UKIB OpCo.
- Assist with UK IB governance reporting of UK IB Audit, RCSA and Regulatory issues (captured in MICOS) to ensure that thematic issues are identified and issues are appropriately prioritized by business divisions and corporate functions through (including OpRisk Incidents).

Your skills and experience
We are looking for:
- Preferred background within Big 6 Consulting, Audit, Risk or COO function
- Proven experience of effectively coordinating with a range of senior partners
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Presentation experience including tailoring messaging and presentation style based on audience
- Previous experience and knowledge of operating front to back across the organisation with industry read-across capabilities and experience
- Proven understanding of Front Office, Risk, Finance, and detailed Compliance knowledge. An ability to proactively identify and manage operational risk, financial and controls issues
- A proven ability to understand front to back flows and compare landscapes internally and versus both peer and regulatory expectations, accessing industry peers and regulatory contacts as needed.
