A well established manufacturing business in Telford, with a reputation for staff retention and development are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team.
Description
As an Accounts Assistant, you will report into the Finance Manager, responsible for assisting with the efficient processing of financial transactions and reports.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: posting payments, receipts and other transactions; processing cheques, BACs and other payments; cash allocation; online banking; responding to and resolving finance queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have knowledge of working in a finance role - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
Job Offer
On offer to the successful candidate is a role as an Accounts Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract, salary of £25,000 and hybrid working is in place.
