Senior Accountant (West)

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for closing, reporting and treasury.

Our client is a leading equipment dealer in Singapore, with a full range of services including sales, rental, parts and after service support in various regions.

Description

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and reporting
• Ensure financial statements are in compliance to FRS
• Analyze actual results against budget, forecast and past trends
• Submit consolidated results
• Resolve intercompany variances
• Prepare monthly management reports, presentation, quarterly and annual group reporting pack
• Ensure timely and accurate income tax computation and filing
• Prepare annual budget and forecast
• Work closely with auditors and prepare annual statutory reports
• Participate actively in process improvement activities, including documentation
• Prepare hedge accounting entries and monthly forex exposure reports
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasting

Profile

• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, or equivalent
• 5 years of accounting and audit experience
• Self-motivated and attentive to details
• Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
