The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making that affects the Company and will provide strategic financial input to the CEO and Board of Directors, while keenly overseeing the overall accounting process. The successful CFO will play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of our firm. Main Responsibilities Execute the financial strategy of the Company; Develops recommendations for the CEO and Board of Directors on the strategic direction of the company. Monitors and measures the company's financial performance against plans and conducts meaningful post-audit studies and detailed periodic analyses of financial data in order to identify areas of potential improvement in financial results. Develops, maintains and coordinates the implementation of processes and systems for profit planning, cost controls, forecasting, financial reporting, revenue collections, sourcing capital and financial negotiations. Projects and monitors the company's cash flow and advises on the company's ability to meet its financial obligations. Develops and implements policies, procedures and plans to accomplish the capital needs of the company and the extension of credit. Works with the Auditors in guiding the annual audit. Manages the company's assets and ensures compliance with legal, financial and statutory reporting requirements. Develops and implements policies, procedures and plans to support and meet the procurement needs of the company. Directs, executes and monitors all procurement activities and advises on contract negotiations and monitoring. Develops, coordinates and monitors budgets. Other duties commensurate with the position. Other Attributes 10+ years experience in a senior managerial position, preferably working in a fast paced, high volume environment. Sound knowledge of corporate accounting policies and ability to analyse financial statements and complex financial data; Experience with creating financial statements; Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process; Excellent accounting software user and administration skills; Accuracy and attention to detail; Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills; Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP, and preparation of Financial Reports; Meticulous and detailed oriented; Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; Experience negotiating and executing contracts; Strong interpersonal skills, with the intuitive ability to work effectively well with various personality types; Self-motivated, team oriented, innovative strategic thinker with a passion for driving results, and a strong sense of personal accountability; Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, and work as a team with various stakeholders; Diplomacy, Maturity and ability to keep confidences; Strong Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management; Qualified Accountant - CPA, ACCA  or equivalent designation. .
