They are looking for a new Management Accountant to join the team and take ownership of this role, collaborating with colleagues , supporting and managing the relationship with key stakeholders
Description
The Management Accountant position includes the following duties:
- Preparing & reporting management accounts for multiple companies
- Reconciling balance sheet control accounts
- Analysing & reporting overhead
- Calculating & prepaying rents receivables
- Processing prepayments and accruals
- Processing company credit cards and reconciling
- Analysing & reconciling company WIP with commercial and rents
- Creating WIP documents to support balance sheet
- Reviewing, invoicing & calculating WIP on internal & external projects
- Analysing & reporting on property repairs
- Reconciling & processing bank statements/cashbooks
- Reviewing, monitoring & keeping up to date rates & council tax
- Quarterly VAT returns for rental companies & calculating exemption
- Identifying, setting and improving controls and procedures
- Producing year end audit pack for rental companies
- Maintaining and updating rental portfolio
- Understanding and improving controls and procedures
Profile
The successful applicant for the Management Accountant role will possess the following attributes and skill sets:
- Part- Qualified with Study Support offered
- Self-motivated, can work independently, as well as team player
- Computer-literate with strong excel skills
- Experience of using Dynamic NAV would be beneficial
- Strong organisational skills and problem-solving ability
- Experience in construction WIP
- Effective communicator between finance & non-finance stakeholders
