PO 5-8 (scp 35-38) £38,890 to £41,881 per annum
37 hours per week We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to lead our small internal audit team consisting of three members of staff in providing a comprehensive internal audit service across all areas of the council.You will be an integral member of the team helping to plan and deliver a wide variety of internal audits, helping to challenge controls and ensuring transparency across the council's services. You will therefore have a comprehensive knowledge and experience of audit techniques. You will also have responsibilities around the review of governance arrangements, risk management and insurances.You must have excellent report writing, presentation and interpersonal skills and be able to apply them to your work across all levels of the organisation.
