To provide detailed accounting support to the Central Finance team.
Client Details
The client is a leading Financial Services company based in Brentwood, Essex.
Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Recording daily movements of the lending portfolio and the deposits business area.
- Completing Bank Reconciliations.
- Carrying out month end tasks including accruals, deferred income and control account reconciliations. Accounting for commissions, clawbacks and interest income.
- Leading project work from a finance perspective.
- Ad-hoc duties as and when to support the finance team.
Profile
Candidate Profile:
- Finalist level ACCA
- Previous experience of working within the financial services industry would be useful but not essential.
- At least intermediate level of excel including V-lookups & Pivot tables.
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge, including exposure to IFRS reporting.
- Proven track record of delivering to tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Able to demonstrate an analytical and solutions focused approach to work.
