Our Global Finance Controllership Team provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

Partner with the best:

As an Indirect Tax Lead you will support global customer withholding tax certificate collection at Global Finance Organization and be responsible for:

• Supporting the Team Lead to rollout the internal indirect tax process or guidelines to operations and other functions, along with tax calculation for Mexico.
• Liaising with respective country focus point on collection of withholding certificates to reduce the outstanding unclaimed at Corporate level.
• Performing system clearing activity once obtain related withholding tax certifications.
• Performing monthly reconciliations between withholding tax submissions, withholding tax certificates collection/ clearing and the general ledger withholding tax accounts.
• Preparing for or assist in the preparation of assigned Tax audits and annual tax filings
• Implementing best practices for the indirect tax process and proactively identify, propose and implement continuous improvement processes within the team.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Have 3-7 years of Colombian Indirect Tax experience.
• Have a knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Have experience in leading a team is mandatory.
