Group Accountant

The Role

As the Group Accountant, you will have a pivotal role managing the finance for 3 entities. Working with the MD and stakeholders across the business, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Full management of the finance function for 3 entities including the full month end process
• Monthly and annual reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting for all entities
• Dynamic cash flow management
• Process AP & AR
• Payroll, workers compensation and super calculations
• Preparation of BAS and tax liabilities in collaboration with external accountants
• Key point of contact for audit processes
• Leading ongoing process improvement initiatives and projects

Your Background

To be considered for this Group Accountant role, you will have the following skills and attributes: 

• CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• A well rounded accounting background
• Strong cashflow management experience
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• The appetite and ability to take full ownership of the finance function
